Children’s book teaches kids to accept those who are different
Art Manno launches new book campaign for ‘Bumbino’
CHANHASSEN, Minn. – In his first published book “Bumbino” (published by AuthorHouse), Art Manno creates a little Italian bumblebee who struggles to make new friends. Described as colorful and unique, Manno believes there is no other Italian hero in children’s books like the bumblebee.
Bumbino lives in a beautiful forest of Abruzzi, Italy. As readers follow his journey in making new friends, they will also learn a few simple Italian words. “There are no other books with a Italian bumble bee hero, that takes place in Italy and all the animals who appear in the story have Italian names,” the author tells.
Manno’s amusing juvenile fiction story teaches young children how to live with the Bumbino Bee attitudes, which would serve as a daily living guide. This children’s book sends four different messages and highlights to kids that one should be true to one’s self and never give up in achieving their dreams.
An excerpt from the “Bumbino:”
Accepting those who are different, never giving up on what you set out to do.
